I've seen some photos of the cape breton bowls - they look awesome. Hopefully I can get to skate them this spring. The Halifax bowls are super fun. The smaller bowl complex has everything you need, a couple of hips, a punk-ass vert wall complete with kinks, a wall ride for the extra gnarly, a long spine and lots of speed lines.
The big bowl is 6ft to 8ft to 9ft - don't quote me on that - if anyone knows better post it up. Mellow hip and gnarly hip - bothe angled. No round hips in the entire park - and beware the zebra gate waterfall of death, you'll miss your pump and hit the face wall and then you'll have to go to the hospital.
I dunno if im a local at the commons but I try to go there as much as i can. I can't do much in the vert section but I m gonna try and learn some stuff so i can at least session the mini pipe.
Don't listen to my dad he's just messing around - he hates bowls and transition - he's more of a technical kind of guy - like stairs and switch bs flips and stuff. He can't even spell "title" I got him a new ibook for my birthday last year and he still can't use the spell check.
